Job description

We’re looking for an SEO/AEO Consultant to support multiple client engagements and help drive search visibility across traditional SEO, AI search, and emerging answer-engine experiences. This is a remote opportunity for a hands-on strategist who enjoys working in a fast-paced agency environment and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead search strategy across SEO, AEO, and AI search optimization to support full-funnel growth.
  • Develop approaches for AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask results, zero-click experiences, and conversational search queries.
  • Strengthen brand authority through entity-based optimization and knowledge graph strategies.
  • Partner with content and digital teams to apply E-E-A-T best practices across search initiatives.
  • Optimize content and technical elements for generative search environments and LLM discovery platforms.
  • Build structured data and schema recommendations to improve visibility in rich results and AI summaries.
  • Monitor search and AI trends, then adjust strategies to stay ahead of algorithm changes and market shifts.
  • Perform technical, content, competitive, local, and app SEO audits and present actionable insights.
  • Create functional SEO specifications and work with developers through implementation, QA, and UAT.
  • Conduct keyword, topic cluster, and entity research to guide scalable content planning.
  • Identify opportunities for content optimization, consolidation, pruning, and authority building.
  • Collaborate with paid media, analytics, UX, product, and development teams to improve search performance.
  • Present recommendations and performance insights to internal teams and client stakeholders.
