As a licensed professional counselor, you will work closely with clients through telehealth sessions, ensuring confidentiality and support for mental health challenges in a comfortable and accessible manner. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, effectively utilizing various assessment tools and methodologies.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions that address a broad range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
• Provide couples and family therapy sessions, navigating complex relationship dynamics and fostering effective communication strategies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique circumstances, setting clear objectives and therapeutic interventions.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, employing crisis management techniques to stabilize situations.
• Educate clients and families about mental health issues, equipping them with coping strategies and resources to enhance their understanding and management of their conditions.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as well as ethical standards for practice.
• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing counseling practices, prioritizing client confidentiality and informed consent at all times.

At Southern Wellness Counseling Center, you will primarily work with an outpatient population, providing therapeutic support to adults, children, and families. Our diverse client demographic includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, with each session designed to tackle their specific circumstances in an empathetic and culturally sensitive manner.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
• Demonstrable clinical experience in delivering counseling services, showcasing a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Empathy and compassion, crucial for establishing rapport and understanding client experiences.
• High ethical standards and professional conduct in all client interactions.

• Experience working with specific populations such as youth, families, or individuals with trauma history is preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Prior experience in a remote counseling role is advantageous to effectively navigate telehealth platforms.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, based on experience and caseload management.
• A fee-for-service payment model ensures timely compensation, with guaranteed rates paid ahead of collections.
