Southern Wellness Counseling Center is seeking a committed and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional telehealth mental health services. This position is entirely remote, allowing counselors to work from their own home environments while still accessing a robust support system from our team. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to ascertain clients' mental health needs, concerns, and overall therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions for clients struggling with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management techniques.
• Engage in couples and family therapy to address relational issues, improve communication, and resolve conflicts within the family unit.
• Create individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client, establishing clear therapeutic objectives and appropriate interventions.
• Deliver crisis intervention support to clients experiencing immediate mental health emergencies.
• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, coping mechanisms, and available local resources for additional support.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards in documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and legal requirements concerning counseling practices to ensure safety and informed consent throughout the therapeutic process.

The LPC will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. The telehealth format allows us to reach clients across Fort Collins, and beyond, ensuring they receive timely and effective support regardless of location.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely-related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
• Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in delivering counseling services to various populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients and foster a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
• Empathy and compassion with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with clients of varying backgrounds.
• Firm understanding of ethical practices and compliance in counseling standards.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Dedication to personal and professional growth through ongoing education and training opportunities.

• Previous experience in outpatient or telehealth counseling environments.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is a plus.
• A background in crisis intervention and experience working with high-risk populations.

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Other benefits include:
