• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering mental health recovery.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches suited to each client's unique challenges, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression or trauma-informed care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress, working quickly to ensure safety and stabilization during critical moments.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists and social workers—to coordinate holistic care and effectively manage client treatment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in mental health counseling.
• Convey innovative ideas for program development and improvement initiatives that elevate our service offerings and enhance patient care.
• Maintain open lines of communication with clients to monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our patients come from various backgrounds and life experiences, which allows for unique opportunities to apply cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach. • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Maryland.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling is preferred, ideally with individuals experiencing emotional and psychological challenges.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Demonstrated skills in building rapport and establishing meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from various diverse backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills, enabling effective work within a multidisciplinary team setting.

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, with the potential for further growth based on experience and performance. In addition to competitive salaries, our counselors receive a monthly healthcare stipend, access to our services as clients (as long as you remain an active counselor), and the flexibility to create a schedule that complements work-life balance.
