This full-time role presents an opportunity to contribute to a leading organization in teletherapy, providing crucial mental health support to individuals and families remotely. As a vital member of our team, you will play a significant role in enhancing the accessibility and effectiveness of mental health services in California.

About the Organization

Located in beautiful Oceanside, California, the Family and Couples Counseling and Well-being Center is a pioneer in delivering innovative teletherapy services designed to meet the growing demand for mental health care. Our mission is to provide high-quality counseling services that promote emotional well-being and foster relationships. With an emphasis on client-centered care, we empower our counselors to utilize their expertise in environments where they can thrive, ensuring that each client receives optimal support tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. We prioritize a flexible work culture that supports a healthy work-life balance. As a remote clinician, you are expected to create a dedicated workspace that ensures confidentiality and complies with privacy regulations. Our advanced teletherapy platform manages client interactions seamlessly, allowing you to focus primarily on client care rather than administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy remotely to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges.
  • Create treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s needs, utilizing strengths-based approaches and therapeutic interventions.
  • Engage in regular assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment methodologies as necessary.
  • Maintain minimal paperwork, utilizing our platform which streamlines documentation to allow you more time for direct client interactions.
  • Participate in team meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to a collaborative and supportive professional environment.
  • Utilize a library of therapeutic tools and resources available on our platform to enhance your clinical effectiveness.
  • Facilitate client referrals and manage a caseload effectively, with potential to establish a full clinical load within the first month of employment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with stable, low acuity clients who are seeking therapy for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and general mental well-being. As clients are pre-screened, you will have the opportunity to provide services to individuals who are motivated to improve their mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Fully licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California, with no disciplinary actions on your license.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, being resourceful and adaptable in a remote environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interactions.
  • A dedicated workspace that aligns with privacy policies to conduct therapy sessions discreetly.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience managing your own clinical caseload with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
  • Dual or multi-state licensure is a valued asset.
  • Comfort with and experience using telehealth platforms for therapy delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a significant sign-on bonus of USD 3,000 paid after seeing your first client within two weeks of onboarding, along with access to our extensive library of therapy tools and minimal paperwork requirements. Furthermore, our patient self-pay system eliminates the need for complex reporting to funding sources, allowing you to devote more time to your clients.

Career Growth Opportunities

At the Family and Couples Counseling and Well-being Center, we are committed to your professional development. You will have opportunities to engage in ongoing training and supervision, career progression within the organization, and the ability to expand your skill set through exposure to various client demographics and therapy modalities. As a member of our team, your growth is our priority.

Why Join Our Team

Joining our team means becoming part of a supportive and innovative community dedicated to making a positive impact on mental health care. You'll benefit from our flexible scheduling, allowing you to design your work hours based on your lifestyle and income needs. Whether you prefer to work 5 hours a week or wish to build a full caseload of 40+ hours, we support you in achieving your professional and personal goals.
