Senior Operations Analyst – Engineering & Construction

The Role  

The Senior Operations Analyst supports Engineering & Construction (E&C) organizations by driving operational excellence, process optimization, and performance insights across complex, cross functional workflows. This role partners closely with Engineering, Construction, Program Management, and Operations stakeholders to improve end‑to‑end processes, reduce cycle time, and enable scalable, standardized ways of working. 

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong analytical, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating business needs into actionable insights and sustainable improvements. This position thrives in a fast paced, evolving environment and plays a critical role in supporting large‑scale network and infrastructure initiatives. 

Work Location- Remote in the U.S.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Engineering & Construction operational processes, providing analytical and process improvement support across planning, design, build, and close‑out phases. 

  • Analyze end-to-end workflows, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement across E&C programs. 

  • Develop, track, and report on operational KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to support leadership decision-making. 

  • Partner with Engineering, Construction, Program Management, and Operations Excellence teams to standardize processes, job aids, and documentation. 

  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. 

  • Translate complex operational data into clear insights, recommendations, and executive level summaries. 

  • Support change management efforts, including communication plans, training materials, and adoption tracking. 

  • Identify gaps in tools, systems, and data, and collaborate with cross functional teams to drive sustainable solutions. 

  • Support special projects and initiatives related to network builds, construction readiness, and process scalability. 

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, compliance requirements, and best practices. 

 Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 

  • 5+ years of experience in operations analysis, process improvement, program/project support, or a related role. 

  • Experience supporting Engineering, Construction, Network, or Infrastructure based organizations. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with dashboards and reporting tools preferred. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast paced environment. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in telecommunications, network engineering, or large-scale construction environments. 

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies. 

  • Experience documenting and standardizing processes in a centralized process library or knowledge base. 

  • Ability to influence without authority and drive cross functional alignment. 

  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or operational excellence initiatives.

Compensation 

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. 

Location Based Pay Ranges: $65,000-$108,000 Annually
