Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and mental health screenings to identify the individual needs of patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate short-term individual counseling sessions and provide effective crisis intervention strategies for patients encountering urgent mental health concerns.
• Lead therapeutic group sessions and workshops, focusing on timely topics like coping strategies, emotional regulation, and stress management to enhance personal development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical staff, psychiatrists, and community organizations, to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses all aspects of patient health.
• Engage in proactive outreach initiatives, promoting mental health awareness through community events and educational campaigns.
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Strong understanding of the mental health challenges faced by hospital patients and the ability to navigate their complex needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and working collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Knowledgeable in the application of evidence-based practices and brief therapy models tailored for the unique hospital setting.
• Able to manage a diverse caseload efficiently within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong prioritization and time management skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working as a mental health counselor or therapist.
• Experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms to ensure seamless patient interactions.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in relevant mental health fields.

• An attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
