• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate individual mental health needs and establish appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Provide personalized short-term counseling and crisis intervention, employing evidence-based practices and adaptable therapeutic models.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops targeting student well-being, conflict resolution, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Collaborate with community partners, including educational institutions and local organizations, to create holistic support networks for clients.
• Engage in proactive outreach efforts, organizing initiatives such as mental health awareness campaigns and wellness workshops within the community.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and record-keeping of all client interactions while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

This position primarily serves individuals within our community who are facing mental health challenges, including stress management, anxiety, depression, and relational issues. You will assist clients across a range of demographics, with an emphasis on creating a supportive atmosphere that acknowledges and respects each person's unique experiences and values.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related disciplines are strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the diverse mental health challenges specific to our community landscape and the ability to apply appropriate therapeutic approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to establish rapport with clients and work collaboratively with teams.
• Familiarity with current evidence-based practices that effectively meet the needs of a community-based clientele.
• Proven capacity to manage a varied caseload efficiently while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in community mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
• Participation in mental health outreach or awareness programs can be an asset, enhancing our community engagement efforts.
