Administrative Assistant - REMOTE - Little Rock, Arkansas, United States
IPG works in the contiguous 48 states, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico handling a variety of claims including, but not limited to auto physical damage, inland marine cargo, dealers' open lot, property damage (commercial and homeowners) and general liability.
Reporting to the Manager, Administrative Support, the Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact regarding new and existing claims.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Review claim documents received and notes anything vital that is missing to ensure ARM is authorized to handle claims made under the policy of insurance in question
  • Determines organization of the claim, whether London Claim or a Domestic Claim
  • Ensures Adjuster handling the claim will have enough information to begin the claim
  • Requests additional information, as needed, to properly set up the claim
  • Verify the entry of accurate, valid data
  • Ensures that claims are handled in a prompt manner based on the date, time and order received
  • Daily follow up as required in order to secure the information needed for Adjuster to handle claim properly
  • Back up all administrative duties when needed.
  • Other related responsibilities and tasks as assigned by your immediate supervisor or other management as directed.
  • Duties may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience
  • 1-2 years experience in an Administrative Support role
  • High School Diploma required or equivalent
  • Some college preferred

Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good Typing and Spelling skills preferred

Competencies
  • Problem Solver
  • Strong Communicator (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multi-task and handle high volume of concurrent tasks
  • Work collaboratively with others inside and outside the company

Environment/Working Conditions:
  • Dynamic environment with tight deadlines, number and changing priorities

  • Hourly rate: $17/hr
