• Conduct in-depth assessments and comprehensive screenings to accurately evaluate the mental health needs of patients and determine personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual counseling sessions focused on short-term therapeutic interventions and crisis management for clients facing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Facilitate virtual therapy groups and workshops that explore pertinent themes around mental wellness, resilience, and coping strategies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in outreach initiatives and community-building activities, such as mental health awareness campaigns, webinars, and wellness fairs, aimed at increasing community engagement and understanding of mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily serve adult clients who are often dealing with the complexities of urban life in Crystal Bay, Nevada. The telehealth platform allows you to reach individuals who may not otherwise have access to mental health resources, including those facing transportation challenges or residing in rural areas. Your work is integral to improving their mental health and overall quality of life, making a significant impact on the community.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues specific to diverse populations, including insight into the unique challenges faced by clients seeking telehealth therapy.
• Exceptional communication skills and an empathetic approach to building rapport with clients while navigating a remote interaction format.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to teletherapy and an open attitude towards technology in delivering mental health services.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in settings that cater to a diverse client population.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases with multidisciplinary coordination.
