This is a remote position based from an outpatient office setting. While working independently, counselors will maintain regular communication with team members and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs and goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage with clients through one-on-one therapy sessions as well as group therapy settings, fostering open dialogue and trust.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals facing trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship challenges. Your role will involve empowering clients to navigate their mental health journeys, offering support and practical solutions to improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, with a preference for candidates with clinical practice backgrounds.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Understanding of the ethical implications and relevant legal regulations governing counseling practices.
