Job description

Job Description: We're seeking a detail-oriented Retirement Plan Consultant to manage and ensure compliance for our clients' defined contribution retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plan administration, knowledge of regulations, and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans.

Process contributions, distributions, loans, and withdrawals accurately and on time. Conduct annual compliance testing (e.g., ADP/ACP, top-heavy, 402(g) limits). Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings and ensure ERISA/IRS compliance.

Calculate employer contributions, vesting, and matching per plan documents. Maintain accurate records and participant data. Communicate with participants to answer inquiries and support retirement planning.

Stay updated on retirement plan regulations and trends to advise clients. Requirements Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or similar certification (preferred). 2+ years' experience in defined contribution plan administration.

Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
