This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while enjoying a structured schedule. You will work closely with a network of professionals and utilize state-of-the-art telehealth platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that is essential in the mental health profession.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately determine each client's specific needs and challenges.
• Design and implement personalized therapy plans that effectively integrate evidence-based practices tailored to individual client goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing methods suited to the client’s needs, including cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness strategies.
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring ongoing improvement and efficacy in therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinical and legal standards.
• Provide clients with resources and referrals to additional services as appropriate, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health care.

The clients you will support at First Base Therapy are diverse, representing a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns. You will work with individuals facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and other emotional disturbances. Understanding their unique stories and working with them toward resilience and healing is at the core of your role.

• A Master’s degree in a mental health discipline (psychology, counseling, social work, etc.) is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably in a mental health setting.
• Proficient interpersonal and crisis intervention skills with the capability of managing high-stress situations effectively.

• Experience in telehealth services and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Training in trauma-informed care or similar therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate on treatment approaches.

This role offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health and well-being.
