Key ResponsibilitiesLegal & Compliance ReviewEvaluate work products involving legal, regulatory, and compliance mattersAssess whether conclusions are accurate, complete, and appropriately supportedIdentify legal or regulatory gaps, unsupported assumptions, and inconsistent reasoningReview recommendations for practicality, proportionality, and professional credibilityApply experienced judgement across a range of legal and compliance scenariosRegulatory AnalysisReview materials involving regulatory obligations, policies, and internal requirementsAssess whether applicable rules are interpreted and applied correctlyIdentify inconsistencies between stated requirements and proposed actionsEvaluate whether regulatory conclusions are adequately supportedDistinguish substantive compliance risks from minor drafting or presentation issuesRisk & GovernanceEvaluate risk assessments, governance structures, and compliance controlsReview accountability, escalation, monitoring, and documentation processesAssess whether identified risks have appropriate mitigation measuresIdentify weaknesses in control design, ownership, or implementationEvaluate whether proposed governance approaches are realistic and proportionateLegal Documentation & Policy ReviewReview legal memoranda, policies, procedures, compliance reports, and related documentsAssess drafting quality, internal consistency, and clarityIdentify omissions, contradictory provisions, or unsupported conclusionsEvaluate whether documentation accurately reflects the underlying requirementsReview recommendations for practical implementationDocuments, Spreadsheets & PresentationsEvaluate professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completenessReview executive presentations for clarity, logical flow, and decision usefulnessIdentify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issuesAssess whether charts, tables, and supporting materials accurately represent underlying analysisEnsure recommendations are clearly connected to evidence and stated requirementsStructured Evaluation & FeedbackAssess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteriaIdentify legal, regulatory, analytical, and presentation errorsDistinguish substantive deficiencies from minor editorial concernsProvide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknessesApply evaluation standards consistently across different work productsIdeal Profile5+ years of relevant professional experience in legal, compliance, regulatory affairs, corporate law, in-house counsel, risk, or a closely related fieldStrong practical understanding of legal and compliance workflowsExperience reviewing policies, regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, or legal work productsAbility to identify material legal or compliance gaps, unsupported conclusions, and weak risk analysisExperience working across legal, compliance, risk, regulatory, or business functions is highly valuedHighly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceAdvanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google SlidesStrong spreadsheet and analytical skillsNative or professional fluency in EnglishExcellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedbackStrong attention to legal, regulatory, analytical, and presentation detailMaster's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageousEngagement DetailsPart-time independent contractor engagementFully remoteFlexible scheduling based on project requirementsCompensation: $70–$110/hourWork includes evaluation of legal and compliance documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materialsProjects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performanceWork must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third partyH1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagementAbout the PlatformThis opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
