Greystone Counseling Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. Work Environment

This position allows for a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility to meet clients' needs. Although you will primarily work from home, you will remain connected to our outpatient office and professional support network. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on understanding and addressing dysfunction within family systems.
  • Assess clientsโ€™ concerns by observing and documenting intra-familial interactions, and utilizing your clinical skills to elucidate the issues affecting family dynamics.
  • Provide insightful guidance to clients regarding helpful community resources that foster healing and stability.
  • Identify underlying factors contributing to familial unrest, and collaboratively develop strategies for resolution and improvement.
  • Assist clients navigating grief and emotional distress through evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailored to individual experiences.
  • Create comprehensive treatment plans that address each clientโ€™s unique circumstances, ensuring progress is monitored and adjusted as needed.
  • Formulate and prepare expert reports that accurately reflect therapy outcomes and may serve as professional testimony in legal matters.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on families and couples facing a range of challenges, including communication barriers, conflict resolution, grief, and the impact of trauma. Clients may also include individuals experiencing mental health conditions that affect their relationships. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
