Greystone Counseling Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. This position allows for a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility to meet clients' needs. Although you will primarily work from home, you will remain connected to our outpatient office and professional support network. The remote environment enables you to manage your schedule efficiently while ensuring you deliver top-notch therapy to clients, contributing meaningfully from a distance.

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on understanding and addressing dysfunction within family systems.
• Assess clients’ concerns by observing and documenting intra-familial interactions, and utilizing your clinical skills to elucidate the issues affecting family dynamics.
• Provide insightful guidance to clients regarding helpful community resources that foster healing and stability.
• Identify underlying factors contributing to familial unrest, and collaboratively develop strategies for resolution and improvement.
• Assist clients navigating grief and emotional distress through evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailored to individual experiences.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans that address each client’s unique circumstances, ensuring progress is monitored and adjusted as needed.
• Formulate and prepare expert reports that accurately reflect therapy outcomes and may serve as professional testimony in legal matters.

Your primary focus will be on families and couples facing a range of challenges, including communication barriers, conflict resolution, grief, and the impact of trauma. Clients may also include individuals experiencing mental health conditions that affect their relationships. Your therapeutic work will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being of families, aiding them in building trust, understanding, and resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LMFT license in Pennsylvania, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Completion of a minimum of one year of supervised clinical hours as per state requirements, which includes essential postgraduate experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using evidence-based techniques for individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Strong diagnostic and assessment abilities to identify and address various mental health and relational issues effectively.

• Experience providing therapy within an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and supportive technologies.
• Previous involvement in legal cases requiring expert testimony would be a plus.
