Job description

Join phData, a remote-first data and AI consultancy company with employees across the United States, Latin America, and India. We partner with industry leaders, including Snowflake, AWS, Anthropic, Glean, and dbt, to solve the complex data and AI challenges that slow large enterprises.
We're growing fast, and we give our people real ownership over their work. We hire top performers and trust them to deliver results.
Why phData?
  • Snowflake Implementation Partner of the Year - 7 consecutive years, and 2026 Snowflake AI Partner of the Year
  • AWS Premier Tier Services Partner - the highest tier of recognition in the AWS Partner Network
  • 2025 Fivetran Partner of the Year (4th consecutive year)
  • 2025 dbt Labs Partner of the Year (3x winner) with Visionary partner status
  • 2026 KNIME Customer Excellence Partner of the Year
  • Preferred Partner in the Anthropic Claude Partner Network
  • #1 Partner in Snowflake Advanced Certifications
  • 600+ Expert Cloud Certifications (Sigma, AWS, Azure, Dataiku, and more)
  • Recognized as an award-winning workplace in the US, India and LATAM

We are looking for an AI Services Lead to join our Client Services team, with a focus on our partnership with Anthropic. This is a role where you help land the Anthropic account and then own everything that comes after. You are in the room from the beginning, shaping the deal, setting the vision, and building the roadmap that turns an initial commitment into a multi-year AI transformation. You don't inherit an account. You build it. You carry both the delivery and the growth. You are the client's most trusted advisor on what AI can do for their business, and you hold yourself personally accountable for making that real.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead activation for newly landed Anthropic-focused accounts, rapidly moving them from initial interest into well-scoped, active engagements that align with client AI/data maturity.
  • Own end-to-end delivery oversight for your accounts, staying close enough to identify technical and delivery risk early.
  • Build and maintain documented account plans and use-case backlogs that turn initial pilots or workshops into multi-phase, multi-workstream AI transformation programs.
  • Become a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (IT and line-of-business), shaping AI and data roadmaps that leverage Anthropic and related capabilities to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Partner with Anthropic's field team and internal Sales, Marketing, and Delivery leadership to identify, shape, and close expansion opportunities across your portfolio of accounts.
  • Provide strategic leadership during executive meetings, QBRs, and roadmap discussions, positioning phData as a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of learning, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, account planning frameworks, and repeatable patterns for driving AI & Data outcomes.
  • Share best practices and client insights to improve phData's engagement model and delivery excellence.

About You
You are a commercially minded, technically fluent client leader. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and don't wait for permission to drive outcomes. The traits below aren't aspirational; they describe who you already are:
  • Extreme Ownership: You consider "business as usual" in your account plan a failure. Stagnant accounts are a personal problem you refuse to tolerate. You push action, create momentum, and treat every week without a clear next use case as a gap you need to close.
  • Order Maker, Not Order Taker: Your clients don't tell you what to build next. You tell them. You come to every conversation with a point of view, a hypothesis, and a draft plan. You believe that showing up without a proposed path forward is showing up unprepared.
  • Attention to Detail: You believe that great work doesn't happen without the details being right. The account plan is live. The backlog is current. The delivery status is accurate. You don't let things drift because drift erodes trust. Trust is the only currency that matters in this role.
  • Systems Thinker: You don't accept a recurring problem as bad luck. When the same delivery risk surfaces in the third engagement, you assume the structure is producing it and you go change the structure. You trace how a scoping decision in week two becomes a delivery problem in month five, and you fix it upstream before it becomes a persistent problem.

Required Qualifications
  • 6-10+ years of experience in a hybrid delivery/sales role within consulting or professional services, with responsibility for scoping service engagements and accountability for project success. Alternatively, you've held direct accountability for strategic account growth and executive engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience owning both delivery quality and account growth on the same engagement.
  • Track record in scoping and delivering $50K-$1M services engagements
  • History building account plans and roadmaps that carry a single pilot into a broader rollout (for example, multiple phases or multi-workstream programs).
  • Comfort stepping into an account shortly after it is landed and immediately owning activation and expansion, even if you did not source the account or own the channel relationship.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior client stakeholders (IT and line-of-business) and a track record of becoming a trusted advisor to leaders such as CIOs, CTOs, or CDOs.
  • Ability to structure complex problems and drive them to resolution in a matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client needs.

Technical / Functional Skills
  • Real, hands-on AI/data competency sufficient to identify use cases, and delivery risk for agentic AI/LLM and data solutions (for example, RAG, MCP-style servers, agent orchestration, evals, and data architecture).
  • Direct experience with Anthropic (Code, Cowork, or Enterprise) or a comparable LLM/agentic AI platform.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications help candidates stand out but are not required for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated success turning a single AI or data pilot into a multi-year, multi-million-dollar program.
  • Prior experience operating as a trusted advisor with senior technology and line-of-business leaders on AI/data strategy, roadmap design, and delivery risk.
  • Experience building formal, documented account plans and use-case backlogs specifically for generative AI or agentic AI rollouts.

Why phData?
  • Impactful Work: Partner with leading organizations on meaningful data and AI initiatives.
  • Collaborative Culture: Work with a supportive, high-performing global team that values transparency, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
  • Growth Opportunities: Access to challenging projects, mentorship, and structured development pathways.
  • Values-Driven: We prioritize doing the right thing for our clients, our teams, and our community.

  • 401k plan with company match
  • Dental and Vision insurance

  • Annual stipend for Learning and Development
  • Competitive comp, excellent benefits, Flexible PTO plan plus 10 Holidays (and other cool perks)
