How does a Remote Leasing Agent effectively build rapport with prospective tenants without in-person meetings?

Remote Leasing Agents primarily rely on digital communication tools such as video calls, virtual tours, and prompt email or chat responses to establish trust and rapport with potential renters. Building a personal connection remotely involves being responsive, knowledgeable about the property, and proactive in addressing questions or concerns. Additionally, successful agents often personalize their interactions by remembering tenant preferences and following up consistently, which helps create a positive experience despite the lack of face-to-face contact.

What is remote leasing?

Remote leasing is the process of managing and facilitating property lease agreements without in-person interactions. Leasing agents or property managers use digital tools such as online listings, virtual tours, electronic document signing, and remote communication to help prospective tenants view properties, apply, and sign leases. This approach increases convenience and accessibility for both landlords and renters, especially when they are in different locations. Remote leasing has become increasingly popular due to advancements in technology and the need for flexible rental solutions.

Will AI replace leasing agents?

AI technology is increasingly used in leasing to automate tasks like screening applicants and managing inquiries, but leasing agents play a vital role in providing personalized customer service, negotiating lease terms, and handling complex situations. While AI can enhance efficiency, it is unlikely to fully replace leasing agents in the near future due to the need for human interaction and judgment in real estate transactions.

How can I make $100,000 a year working from home?

Remote leasing roles, such as leasing agents or property managers, can reach six-figure incomes through commissions, bonuses, and experience. Success often depends on strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and building a client base, with some professionals working full-time or managing multiple properties remotely.

How to make $1000 a week remotely?

Remote leasing professionals can earn $1000 or more weekly by managing multiple property leases, negotiating favorable terms, and utilizing strong communication and organizational skills. Success often depends on experience, the volume of leases handled, and the commission or fee structure involved in the leasing process.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Remote leasing roles often involve managing property or equipment leases, and earning $2000 weekly typically requires high-volume sales, strong negotiation skills, and experience in real estate or leasing platforms. Success may also depend on commission structures, client networks, and the ability to handle multiple clients efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Leasing Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Leasing Agent, you need strong sales abilities, property management knowledge, and familiarity with real estate regulations, often supported by leasing or real estate certifications. Proficiency with property management software, CRM systems, and virtual tour platforms is typically required. Job description

Director of Real Estate & Construction
Sola Kids Dental & Orthodontics | Location: Phoenix (or Western US Remote with Travel)

About Sola Kids Dental

At Sola Kids Dental we believe Medicaid dentistry can be done better and we are on a mission to change lives through exceptional dental care.

We've built a multi-location platform in Los Angeles, and we are now scaling into markets across the Western US with a goal to be the leading provider of dentistry and orthodontics to kids and families on Medicaid. Every new location means thousands more kids getting consistent, high-quality care.

We are a multi-site consumer healthcare start up capitalized for growth and building a team to scale.

The Role

We're hiring our first Director of Real Estate & Construction and if you're the right person, here's why you'll love it:

  • Ownership: You are the real estate function for 30K+ sq ft of new locations per year. Site selection, lease negotiations, TI buildouts, permitting, GC management. You'll report directly to the CEO, and decisions get made fast. We don't have bureaucracy.
  • Mission: Every location we open is a statement: that kids in underserved communities deserve a dental experience that where they feel valued.
  • Build Something Beautiful: Design is not an afterthought. Building stunning offices in communities that don't expect it is the mission. You'll have strong opinions about what makes a great space, and we'll want to hear them.
  • Growth: We're growing 30%+ per year and building toward being the leading Medicaid dental group in the Western U.S.
What You'll Own
  • Site selection and market analysis across key Western U.S. markets
  • Lease negotiations (we have broker and lawyer relationships, but you'll lead them)
  • Managing TI buildouts of 5,000 to 20,000 sq ft from contract to certificate of occupancy
  • TI bidding and GC management across multiple concurrent projects
  • Permitting and municipal approvals
  • Budget ownership for every project
  • Key aesthetic decisions
  • Holding contractors accountable on scope, on budget, on deadline
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in commercial real estate, development, or construction management
  • Hands-on experience managing tenant improvements or ground-up retail/consumer builds
  • Comfort navigating permitting processes
  • An eye for great design
  • Detail orientation that borders on obsessive
  • An ownership mentality
  • Someone who's great to work with but won't let a GC slide on a deadline
Bonus Points
  • Medical or dental real estate experience
  • Leasing experience on the tenant or landlord side
  • Vertical development, land use, and entitlement experience a plus
  • Experience scaling a multi-unit consumer brand
  • Spanish fluency
Compensation

Target annual compensation of $125K-$150K, plus meaningful upside tied to individual and company performance.

Location

Preference for Phoenix as that's the next market we'll be expanding to. However we are open to anyone in the Western U.S. and ready to travel regularly.
