This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in Northern California in the Sacramento metro area. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers virtually and in person
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process 
  • Meet sales goals on a consistent basis 
  • Help to design and implement new and creative sales strategies
  • Understand and keep up-to-date with ever-changing market trends 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers
  • Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
  • Promote IXL and Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences nationwide 
  • Ability to travel 75-80% with periodic overnights as required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS degree 
  • 3+ years of educational sales experience 
  • Classroom experience and/or a related educational field preferred
  • Familiarity with Web-based technologies
  • Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines 
  • Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for bringing technology into the classroom

The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 to $105,000 + commission eligibility + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
