This position is entirely remote, allowing you flexibility in managing your work-from-home environment. You will be provided with the necessary tools and technology to conduct video therapy sessions effectively. As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have an array of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting one-on-one video sessions with clients to evaluate their mental health and provide therapeutic support.
• Facilitating discussions that enable clients to express their emotions and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of their mental health.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and clinical expertise, employing a solution-based approach.
• Monitoring client progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective support and outcomes.
• Advocating for clients by helping them define their mental health goals and supporting them in achieving these objectives.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with telehealth protocols.

You will focus primarily on individuals experiencing stable, low-acuity mental health challenges. Our patient population includes adults who may be managing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other common mental health issues. By providing empathetic support and professional guidance, you will play a crucial role in helping clients develop essential coping skills and enhance their quality of life.

The following qualifications are required to be considered for this role:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong computer literacy skills to effectively use telehealth platforms and maintain organized client records.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are valued:

• Previous experience with teletherapy or telehealth environments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities specific to the client population.
• A proven track record of successful client outcomes in a counseling setting.
