As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Tarrant Post-Acute Care Practice Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and identify tailored treatment approaches.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional well-being.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of integrated, holistic care for all patients.
• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate care and guidance.
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to foster informed decision-making.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system efficiently.
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care and the latest therapeutic practices.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with monitoring clinical outcomes through these platforms.

In addition to the qualifications listed above, we highly prefer candidates who have:
