As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs and developing effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Providing individual therapy sessions using various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Collaboratively establishing therapeutic goals with clients and regularly evaluating their progress through structured check-ins and progress notes.
• Offering teletherapy options to clients needing flexible scheduling or those who face geographical or mobility barriers.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation to uphold ethical and regulatory standards while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Engaging in continued professional development through workshops and training, thus enhancing your clinical skills and knowledge of emerging practices in mental health therapy.

Your work will directly impact a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and relationship challenges. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A current, valid license in the state of Pennsylvania, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and a secure therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Empathy, a non-judgmental attitude, and a genuine desire to support clients through their challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
