• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms related to mood disorders.
• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with the specific goals, needs, and preferences of clients, utilizing preferred therapeutic modalities—including structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and narrative therapy.
• Employ evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to promote holistic well-being.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress; adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, cross-disciplinary care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder therapies to continually enhance treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation as mandated by legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.
• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development workshops to sharpen your skills and contribute to a culture of learning.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs, addressing the stigma around mental health and promoting their well-being.

This role will primarily focus on clients dealing with relationship challenges, particularly those facing divorce and family restructuring. You will support couples and families in navigating emotional upheaval while fostering healthy communication and coping strategies. Your expertise will empower clients to rebuild their lives and cultivate positive relationships.

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach in all client interactions.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively while meeting administrative requirements.

• Experience working with clients undergoing divorce, relationship counseling, and family therapy.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and evidenced-based practices.
• Previous involvement in community health settings or remote therapy experience is an asset.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
