Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

As a Product Designer, you will design elegant, customer-focused web applications to help our customers create and prepare agreements for millions of Docusign users around the globe. You are responsible for the user interface architecture, interaction, and visual design across platforms while balancing business needs with simple, user-centered solutions. You collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to bring a common vision to life through inventive storytelling and data-informed design. You will play a key role in the Create Team, ensuring our product experiences are both delightful and highly functional.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Product Design.

Responsibilityย

  • Champion design by exploring inventive solutions before narrowing in on feasible solutions that sweat the small details

  • Partner with product management, engineering, user research and content designers to define features that impact product and product direction, with guidance from more senior designers

  • Own design execution and measure ongoing improvements

  • Produce deliverables for every stage of the design process - storyboards, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes

  • Utilize and contribute new patterns to Docusign's design system to maintain scalability

  • Leverage analytics and research data to inform design work and fill gaps with intuition

  • Contribute to a creative and supportive culture for the Experience Design team

Job Designation

Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. What you bring

Basicย

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing consumer, enterprise, and mobile user experiences for large-scale web services

  • Portfolio demonstrating product design strategy, interaction, visual design, prototyping, design rationale, and strong communication and storytelling skills, all inspired by user research

  • Experience with communication and storytelling skills to articulate design rationale

  • Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud

Preferredย

  • Creative problem solver and strong communicator who tells compelling stories that inspire action and clearly articulate design decisions

  • Commitment to shipping high-quality work that reflects well on the team and company brand

  • Growth mindset with an ego-free approach to collaboration and continuous learning

  • Experience working in a cross-functional, agile product development environment
