Your day-to-day tasks as an LCSW will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments with a focus on identifying students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and tailored therapeutic goals.
• Implementing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support clients in overcoming personal hardships.
• Maintaining diligent and accurate client records in adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborating with educational staff and other mental health professionals to facilitate a holistic approach to care for students.
• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to refine treatment methodologies and share knowledge with peers.
• Providing guidance and psychoeducation to clients and families regarding mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Staying updated on current research and best practices in mental health treatment to continually refine your therapeutic approaches and improve client outcomes.

In this role, you will primarily serve students and their families, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, trauma, and those requiring crisis intervention. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, especially focusing on providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to adapt to diverse and challenging situations.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues within a multi-disciplinary team.

• Experience working within school systems or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and distance counseling best practices.
• Previous experience utilizing electronic health record systems.
