You will be expected to maintain regular communication with coworkers and management, utilizing telehealth platforms to engage with clients and collaborate on care strategies. • Serve as a primary liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers, fostering collaboration to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Engage with insurance companies to manage pre-certification and utilization management, facilitating access to necessary services for clients.
• Participate in thorough discharge planning and aftercare arrangements, equipping clients with resources and support for sustained recovery post-detox.
• Provide therapeutic meal support, modeling healthy relationships with food and addressing any underlying issues with nutrition that may affect recovery.
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to the unique identities and circumstances of each client, enhancing their overall treatment experience.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders, many of whom may also be facing co-occurring mental health challenges. You will work with a diverse population that includes adults of various backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Understanding and responding sensitively to the intersecting identities and needs of clients is critical in delivering effective care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia is necessary.
• Prior experience working with older adults and populations experiencing substance use disorders is preferred.
• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills appropriate for a detox setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

We value individuals with experience in outpatient clinic settings or in detox environments, as well as those who possess a thorough understanding of addiction treatment and recovery methodologies. Familiarity with telehealth technologies is also desirable, as it enhances service delivery and client engagement.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
