This individual will serve as a key HR partner supporting multi-state and operational locations, driving employee engagement, workforce initiatives, compliance, and labor relations strategies across the region.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced HR leader who can partner with senior operations teams to execute people strategies across a multi-site environment. This role will provide hands-on HR support across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, compliance, training, and organizational development while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with regional and operational leaders to implement HR strategies that support business goals, employee engagement, and organizational success.
- Serve as a primary HR resource for labor relations matters, including union partnerships, grievances, investigations, and contract-related activities.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
- Support recruitment efforts, workforce planning, onboarding, and talent development initiatives across multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including wage and hour requirements.
- Coach managers on leadership practices, performance conversations, and employee development strategies.
- Develop and deliver employee communications to support organizational initiatives and maintain workforce alignment.
- Partner with internal teams and legal counsel on employment-related matters, investigations, and compliance concerns.
- Analyze workforce data and maintain accurate HR documentation to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or similar leadership role.
- Previous experience supporting unionized environments and managing labor relations activities required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems/tools.
- HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

- Full-time, exempt position.
- Remote role with approximately 50% travel required throughout assigned locations.
