You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and counseling peers dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health services. While much of the work is conducted from home, you will have regular virtual meetings and case discussions to share insights and strategies.

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status and personal needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic approaches tailored to each client, using evidence-based methods.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, offering tools and coping strategies to support clients in overcoming their mental health challenges.
• Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings, peer supervision, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic practices.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with a range of emotional and psychological issues. These may include substance abuse disorders, anxiety, chronic depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from various cultural backgrounds will enrich our practice and enhance the therapeutic process, ensuring that all clients feel understood and supported.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current, valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health counseling or therapy.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive practices.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
• Strong commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries.

• Experience in a community health setting or a similar clinical environment is preferred.
• Specialization or certification in trauma-informed care or specific therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) is a plus.
• Experience in collaborative work settings and understanding the importance of teamwork in therapy practice.
