• Conduct thorough assessments to effectively identify the needs, strengths, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that leverage evidence-based interventions, ensuring each patient receives a personalized approach to recovery.
• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, helping clients navigate their unique recovery journeys.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster a supportive community environment for individuals in recovery, encouraging shared experiences and mutual support.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate integrated care that addresses the full spectrum of patient needs.
• Offer crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and promote immediate access to necessary resources.

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from those in early recovery to those needing ongoing support. This role provides an essential link in their recovery journeys, enabling clients to build coping skills, strengthen their support networks, and facilitate lasting change. Through a compassionate and empathetic approach, you will foster safe interactions that promote healing.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• Strong foundation in substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in providing individual and group counseling within the context of addiction treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exhibit a non-judgmental, supportive demeanor.
• Capability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient computer skills essential for modern mental health practices.

• At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly in substance use disorder treatment settings.
• Experience with crisis intervention and emergency response protocols.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
