What are remote key performance indicators?

Remote Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are specific metrics used to evaluate the performance and productivity of employees or teams working remotely. These KPIs help organizations monitor progress, set goals, and ensure accountability outside of a traditional office environment. Common remote KPIs may include project completion rates, response times, quality of work, communication efficiency, and adherence to deadlines. By tracking these indicators, employers can maintain high performance standards and support remote workers effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote key performance indicators analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote KPI Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, proficiency in data interpretation, and a background in business, statistics, or a related field. Expertise with data visualization tools (like Tableau or Power BI), spreadsheets, and experience with analytics platforms or certifications (such as Google Analytics) are typically required. Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication help analysts present insights effectively to remote teams. These skills ensure accurate performance tracking, actionable insights, and effective decision-making for distributed organizations.

Job description

Pharmacy Integrations Manager
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Remote - USA
Reporting To: COO
Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 / year
Description
Impruvon was founded with a mission to transform medication management for vulnerable populations through innovation, accountability, and compassion. Our platform empowers care teams by simplifying complex workflows, preventing medication errors, and ensuring compliance, ultimately improving safety, outcomes, and independence for individuals in long-term care.
At Impruvon, we are innovative, driven, and committed to building with empathy. We listen first, challenge ourselves to improve every day, and work as a supportive, collaborative team focused on solving meaningful problems that directly impact people's lives.
About the RoleWe're looking for a Pharmacy Integrations Manager to join our Operations team and help drive the technical execution of our pharmacy integrations.
To be clear: this is a hands-on individual contributor role. You won't have direct reports or hiring responsibilities. What you're managing is the integration process itself, its timelines, communication, and delivery needed to deliver high-quality, scalable integrations.
You should have a strong understanding of data formats like HL7 and JSON, be comfortable collaborating with engineers and skilled in communicating with external partners. Creating, implementing, and troubleshooting technical specifications will be integral parts of this role.
This role is critical to Impruvon's growth, supporting pharmacy partnerships and integration reliability as we scale into new markets with consistency and security.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Execution & Coordination
  • Support integration delivery for customers and partners
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with stakeholders (customers, PMS vendors, and pharmacies)
  • Translate business and technical needs into structured requirements, data mappings, and test plans
  • Collaborate with Engineering on implementation plans and testing workflows
  • Monitor integration timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful and compliant launches

Partner & Vendor Communication
  • Serve as the day-to-day technical liaison for pharmacy and technology partners
  • Translate technical information into actionable items for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintain clear documentation of integration decisions, changes, and partner specifications

Standardization & Documentation
  • Maintain structured documentation for all integration flows, schemas, validation protocols, and escalation processes
  • Contribute to building scalable integration frameworks, including standardized workflows and governance models

Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Partner with Engineering to improve visibility into integration health (error rates, throughput, schema issues)
  • Assist in triaging and resolving integration issues quickly and accurately
  • Track metrics and help reduce integration-related escalations or delays

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Customer Experience, Support, and Engineering to ensure integrations improve workflows and outcomes
  • Help internal teams understand integration workflows, expectations, and responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators
  • Timely and successful go-lives for customers
  • Reduced support tickets and escalations related to integration issues
  • Improved integration uptime and lower error rates
  • Clear and standardized documentation across all integration projects
  • Reduced partner onboarding timelines and increased repeatability

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Required
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical integrations, implementation, or health tech role, or equivalent experience owning healthcare data workflows and coordinating across technical teams
  • Strong familiarity with HL7 and JSON. You don't need to code, but you should understand the structure and logic well enough to work directly with engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to own and translate complex technical requirements for internal teams and external partners, including when requirements are incomplete or still evolving
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around documentation and process execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with or supporting pharmacies or PMS platforms
  • Experience in an early-stage or fast-scaling company where there wasn't an existing playbook to follow
  • Comfort using AI tools to support documentation and workflow efficiency

Personal Attributes
  • Curious and fast learner with strong critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and execution-focused
  • Clear communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Thrives in a startup environment (adaptable, collaborative, and energized by growth)

Benefits
At Impruvon, we know our people are our greatest asset. We offer a benefits package designed to support your well-being and growth, including:
  • 100% company-paid medical coverage (base plan)
  • Dental & vision available
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Company-paid life, AD&D, STD & LTD insurance
  • Lifestyle Spending Account (wellness, personal use, and company swag)
  • Flexible PTO + company holidays
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment
  • Opportunity to own and grow a critical function within the company
  • Mission-driven work with real impact on vulnerable populations

Why Join Us
Working at Impruvon means being part of a mission-driven, passionate, and collaborative team. Every role contributes to improving lives and reducing risks in care settings across the country. Your expertise will help ensure we can continue to innovate, grow, and deliver on our promise of safer, smarter care.
