Sr. Game Designer - A5 Labs About the Role: We are looking for a Game Designer with strong experience in the casino and card games industry, who can conceptualize and develop new game ideas, working closely with stakeholders in Asia and internal teams to deliver high-quality gaming experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of casino game mechanics, the ability to bridge the gap between business and design teams, and expertise in creating engaging gameplay while aligning with market demands and cultural themes.

You will be responsible for defining new game mechanics, refining existing ones, and collaborating with art and UI/UX teams to bring these concepts to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, creative problem‐solving skills, and a passion for casino gaming. Key Responsibilities: Game Concept & Design Develop and pitch new game ideas and mechanics tailored to casino and card game markets.

Create game design documents (GDDs) outlining game flow, features, and mechanics. Ensure game design aligns with business objectives, engagement goals, and monetization strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with Asia‐based stakeholders to gather requirements and refine game concepts.

Present and justify game ideas to business leaders, marketing teams, and product managers. Act as the bridge between the design team and Asian stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment. Game Mechanics & Balancing Design engaging and mathematically sound game mechanics, optimizing for player engagement and retention.

Work with data analysts to review player behavior and fine‐tune game balance. Innovate on existing casino games by introducing unique mechanics, features, and player incentives. Art & UX Collaboration Work with the Art and UI/UX teams to develop visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.

Ensure game aesthetics align with thematic elements (e.g., Lunar New Year, Caribbean themes). Provide feedback on game assets, animations, and player experience flows. Market Research & Industry Trends Stay updated on casino gaming trends, competitor games, and player preferences.

Understand regulatory and compliance constraints affecting game design in different markets. Analyze player feedback and market performance to iterate on existing games. Requirements 5+ years of experience in game design, particularly in casino, card games, or iGaming.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken & written) is mandatory. Deep understanding of casino game mechanics, card games (e.g., Hold'em, Stud), and sweepstakes models. Experience in game balancing, RTP calculations, and monetization models.

Strong ability to sell ideas and justify design decisions to stakeholders. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to synchronize multiple teams (Design, Art, UX, Product, Marketing, and Asia‐based stakeholders). Proficiency in game design tools such as Figma, Miro, Unity, or similar is a plus.

Experience in Asia's casino and card game markets is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
