POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operation of modern cloud and network infrastructure. This role is intended for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience with cloud platforms, networking, automation, and infrastructure operations.
The engineer will work closely with senior engineers and architects to help develop infrastructure, support deployments, and assist with automation initiatives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with cloud infrastructure operations in AWS
  • Support network infrastructure tasks such as subnetting, routing, DNS, and DHCP
  • Help deploy and maintain virtual machines and cloud services
  • Assist in infrastructure-as-code development using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Support monitoring and logging of infrastructure systems
  • Help maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture and processes
  • Assist with automation and scripting tasks to improve operational workflows
  • Participate in troubleshooting incidents and operational issues
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Foundational knowledge of Linux systems administration
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, DNS, routing)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Interest in automation and infrastructure engineering
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with Git or version control systems
  • Coursework or projects involving cloud computing or systems engineering
  • Basic understanding of monitoring or logging tools
  • Basic scripting ability in Python, Bash, or similar
