Role Summary
This position is a mid to senior-level Product Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative software solutions that support organizational objectives. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging AI-enabled technologies, and adopting modern development practices to deliver high-quality, production-ready applications. A strong focus on responsible AI integration and continuous learning characterizes this role, which plays a key part in shaping internal technology products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and debugging of complex software solutions, ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, technical specifications, and deliverables.
  • Document software architectures, systems, and processes to support ongoing maintenance and improvement efforts.
  • Partner with business teams to implement AI capabilities responsibly and creatively across enterprise, operational, and product workflows.
  • Incorporate generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development to solve real-world business problems.
  • Build or integrate AI-backed features into production systems, responsibly experimenting with emerging tools, platforms, and frameworks.
  • Stay current with advances in AI technology, continuously learning and applying new methodologies to improve solutions.
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing applications to ensure alignment with business objectives and IT standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years of IT experience, or an Associateโ€™s degree with at least 8 years of IT experience, or a Bachelorโ€™s degree in an IT-related field with at least 5 years of IT experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Expert-level programming skills in relevant languages, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern methodologies.
  • Experience designing scalable, maintainable software systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in database querying and design.
  • Preferred experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), AI technologies (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub, Figma), and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience leading AI-enabled projects with a focus on responsible innovation and ethical practices.
  • Availability for hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.

Publishing Pay Range: $57.00 - $60.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
