Position Overview:

We are seeking a determined REMOTE Junior Business Analyst who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating discussions with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. This includes defining as-is and to-be processes, supporting solution design through wireframes or visuals when needed, and managing requirements through approval and change control processes.

The role also supports testing and delivery by developing UAT plans, identifying process improvements, and ensuring readiness for operational changes. In addition, the BA will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, L&D, IT/development and other cross functional teams as needed. This position will help translate complex needs into clear, actionable insights while maintaining documentation standards and project consistency.

*This is not a data or reporting role. You will not be expected to:

  • Write SQL queries
  • Build dashboards or reports
  • Perform deep data mining or statistical analysis

*Instead, your success will come from your ability to:

  • Define what the business needs
  • Align stakeholders
  • Ensure the solution delivered matches the requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for prioritized initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align on scope and requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable, and testable requirements
  • Define current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes and workflows
  • Support solution design through wireframes, visuals, and process documentation as needed
  • Manage requirements through approval, change control, and scope management processes
  • Develop and execute UAT plans and test cases aligned to requirements
  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT/development teams
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to efficiency and user experience
  • Support operational readiness for system and process changes
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to BA standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 0-2 years of business analysis experience
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate complex business needs into requirements
  • Experience identifying process gaps and recommending improvements
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data to support decision-making
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
  • Experience with diagramming tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exposure to UI/UX tools such as Figma or InVision is a plus
