Job description

Remote position with the ability to travel to our NJ and NY locations up to 25% of the time.

Position Summary: Full Stack AI Developer to support enterprise AI initiatives across underwriting, claims, operations, and digital platforms. This role combines full-stack software engineering with applied AI/ML and Generative AI development, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi‑agent system design, and intelligent automation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop full-stack AI-enabled applications using Python, React/Next.js, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Build and integrate Generative AI solutions including copilots, document intelligence, and conversational workflows.
  • Implement agentic AI patterns, RAG architecture, MCP servers and workflow orchestration.
  • Develop scalable backend services and microservices.
  • Implement parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT) techniques like LoRA/MLoRA.
  • Implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
  • Deploy and manage AI applications on Azure Cloud.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent training/experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (Python, React, .NET, SQL, PostgreSQL) required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI architecture required.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and cloud-based AI services required.
  • AI and Cloud certifications preferred.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, React, .NET (Framework/Core), SQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Multi‑agent system design (agent orchestration, planning, coordination, tool invocation)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Foundry, and Azure Cloud services
  • Implementation experience of RESTful & event-driven architectures, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with RAG architectures, techniques like LoRA/mLoRA and MCP Servers
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a customer service focus.

The salary range for this role is $97,300-$182,500. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs.  Base pay is just one component of GNY’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
