This role involves close collaboration with operational teams to understand their activities, identify opportunities and risks, and support optimal resource allocation.Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Analyze and interpret financial data to assess performance and profitability.
  • Prepare financial reports and KPIs, highlighting trends, opportunities, and variances.
  • Conduct financial analyses and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management presentations.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to support financial initiatives and strategies.
  • Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests from management.
  • Support strategic objectives and business development initiatives of the business units as needed.
  • Support operational analysis, including cost analysis and savings related to continuous improvement.
  • Participate in project evaluations, monitor project progress, and perform postproject analyses for investment projects.
Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation preferred (or in progress).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI and financial modeling are assets.
  • Strong command of both French and English, spoken and written (regular interactions with stakeholders located outside of Quebec).
