What is a remote junior draftsman?

A Remote Junior Draftsman is an entry-level design professional who creates technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software, but works from a location outside of the traditional office, often from home. They support architects, engineers, or senior draftsmen by producing detailed schematics, blueprints, and diagrams based on project specifications. Their responsibilities may include revising existing drawings, collaborating with teams online, and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards. Working remotely, they communicate and share files digitally, making strong organizational and communication skills important.

How does a remote junior draftsman typically collaborate with architects and senior designers while working offsite?

As a Remote Junior Draftsman, you'll regularly communicate with architects and senior designers through video calls, collaborative software, and cloud-based project management tools. Consistent digital communication and strong organizational skills are essential to ensure your work aligns with the overall vision and deadlines of the team.
