Description:
In this exciting role,you willbe responsible for safeguarding data from unauthorized access or modification ensuring its availability, confidentiality, and integrity.
Create and enhance a high-visibility, collaborative web application used in the day-to-day mission by the customer as well as across the broader Intelligence Community (IC) and other partners. Your work will enable data to be updated and shared in real-time that will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.
Location:Annapolis Junction, MD/Remote
Telework Availability:up to 16 hours per week can be remote
Duties:
  • Provide Front-End software development and technical services to support the Analytic and Engagement Applications (AEA) organization
  • Collaborate with other software development teams developing web-based user interface applications promoting service interoperability, integration, and reuse
  • Perform code reviews
  • Debug existing software and correcting defects
  • Write & review software system documentation
Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR four (4) years total of verifiable experience may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor's degree.
  • Developing applications using AngularJS / jQuery / React / Vue (other JS frameworks)
  • Developing Java Web or NodeJS applications
  • Experience using and implementing CSS
  • Developing or integrating with RESTful Services
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with querying or building relational or non-relational databases (i.e., MongoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience building user-facing web applications in JavaScript frameworks using React
  • Experience using and implementing SCSS
  • Experience using web sockets
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with generating technical documentation
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Developing applications that are 508 compliant
  • Experience managing software code using GitLab
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
