A Japanese food manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking an Accounting Staff member.
This position is a good fit for someone who has accounting or bookkeeping experience, or someone who studied accounting in college and would like to start their career in accounting.
The company has a small accounting/admin team, so the ideal candidate should be flexible, detail-oriented, and willing to help with both accounting and general administrative tasks when needed.

$22 $25 per hour, depending on experience
Recent graduates: approximately $22 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks
  • Prepare accounting documents, reports, and filings
  • Assist with financial management and accounting procedures
  • Prepare and review financial and accounting documents
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing tasks
  • Enter data accurately and manage documents
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments
  • Support general administrative duties as needed
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Accurate data entry skills, Basic calculation skills
  • Proficiency with Windows PC and Microsoft Excel
  • English / Japanese Bilingual
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • U.S. drivers license, or willingness to obtain one
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a small team
Preferred:
  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • 23 years of practical accounting experience is ideal
  • Degree or major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Recent graduates with an accounting background are welcome
  • Japanese language ability around JLPT N1 level may be considered
  • Experience working in a small accounting or administrative team
  • Flexibility to support both accounting and general admin work
