Job description


Our direct, Fortune 100 client is looking for a lead-level, REMOTE IT Systems Analyst for a 10-month, extendable contract position. You'd be joining the project as a liaison between the Business and IT for various projects, all generally related to system integration efforts. Your primary responsibilities would involve requirements elicitation, documentation, and management within Azure DevOps, as well as system analysis and process mapping.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Creates detailed documentation and diagrams (e.g., data flow diagrams, context diagrams) for the design, development, and implementation of new systems and enhancements.
  • Facilitates design review sessions to validate solutions and participate in system design improvement processes.
  • Reviews system capacity, data archiving, and retention needs.
  • Evaluates new products and vendors, providing comparison reports and overviews for IT Management.
  • Prepares project pilot, rollout, contingency, and rollback plans.
  • Conducts impact analysis on various projects affecting targeted systems.
  • Creates metrics by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, monitoring, and auditing data for specific systems.
  • Elicits and document moderately complex business and technical requirements using industry-accepted techniques.
  • Leads requirements reviews to ensure comprehensiveness and adherence to documentation standards and methodologies.
  • Manages and track the progress of requirements using standard tools and processes.
  • Provides direction writing requirements, feasibility, and cost considerations, and addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify needs and effectively elicit both technical and non-technical requirements for planned enhancements, system modifications, or new system specifications.
  • Effectively ask questions of stakeholders to include developers and platform resources to ensure data flow is understood and appropriately planned for in an ambiguous environment
  • Utilizes industry-standard tools and methodologies to gather and translate requirements into comprehensive documentation and user stories.
  • Participates in the alignment on requirements to ensure work products are comprehensive and adhere to documentation standards, methodologies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Works with other team analysts to create and monitor progress on work items for the project.
  • Takes ownership of work tracking and visual management experience, including creation of dashboards and other metrics.
  • Story card creation, and additionally attending and running Scrum ceremonies
