  • You will assist personnel in utilizing existing IT, Information Management (IM), and Knowledge Management (KM) systems and processes to enable the efficient display and sharing of information associated with the training center.
  • You will provide analysis in support of IT acquisition, IT contract review, NMCI task orders, and shared services business practices.
  • You will analyze programs to determine whether there is an equipment malfunction, software problem, or lack of user understanding regarding the use of equipment or software; provide training as necessary.
  • You will manage changes to hardware, software, firmware, system documentation, and testing throughout the operational life of all systems.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying acquisition management policies and procedures when evaluating IT products and services, developing Electronic Classrooms (ECR), and providing training and mentorship to lower-level personnel; 2) Applying cybersecurity policies to safeguard unclassified information; 3) Utilizing oral and written communication techniques to build professional relationships with leadership and when representing the workplace in interactions with other organizations; 4) Applying IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices sufficient to plan and carry out a broad variety of difficult and complex IT issues; and 5) Staying well-informed on rapidly changing technology standards to evaluate its possible impact on organization missions and to develop plans to satisfy requirements.
