Entry-Level ISP Technician (Data Center Project)

Location: Meridian, MS
Pay: $19-$21/hour + Overtime
Schedule: Approximately 60 hours/week during initial project phases
Start Date: Early September
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Direct Hire

Insight Global is seeking two motivated Entry-Level ISP Technicians to support a major data center telecommunications project in Meridian, Mississippi. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the telecommunications, data center, or low-voltage industry.


No prior telecom experience is required. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are eager to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. Successful candidates will receive hands-on training from experienced industry professionals while working on one of the area's largest infrastructure projects.


This project is expected to last 3-5 years and offers significant career growth potential. Individuals who demonstrate strong performance may have opportunities for direct hire and long-term advancement within the telecommunications and data center industries.


What You'll Do

  • Assist experienced technicians on a large-scale data center project
  • Learn telecommunications and structured cabling installation techniques
  • Pull, route, and organize cable infrastructure
  • Utilize hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Support various project activities at the job site
  • Work as part of a team on long-term construction and telecommunications initiatives
