NikoHealth is seeking a dependable and technically skilled IT Help Desk Specialist to provide first-line technical support to employees and assist with the effective operation of company hardware, software, applications, and IT systems. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting technical issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees through phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, network, login, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and approved software.
  • Create, document, prioritize, and track support tickets through resolution.
  • Assist employees with password resets, account access, application issues, and basic system configuration.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, email, collaboration, VPN, and other business applications.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and recurring technical issues.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup, account access, and system permissions.
  • Monitor reported technical issues and follow up with users to ensure problems are fully resolved.
  • Follow company IT security, privacy, access-control, and data-protection procedures.
  • Help identify recurring technical problems and recommend improvements to IT support processes.
  • Maintain a professional, patient, and service-oriented approach when assisting employees.

Required Qualifications
