Job description

The pioneer in forensic utility bill auditing. Since 1991 we've recovered $700M+ for 16,000+ commercial buildings — on pure contingency. No recovery, no fee. As we grow, we need someone to own the day-to-day IT work that keeps our small technology team running.

This is a technical, hands-on role, not a helpdesk-only position. You'll be the first point of contact for IT support and vendor issues, and you'll work directly alongside our developers — supporting testing, catching issues early, and picking up technical work as your capacity and skills grow. Reports to the Technology Lead.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsibilities

●        Handle day-to-day IT support requests — M365 account setups, email configuration, access and permissions, hardware/software troubleshooting — as the first point of contact for the team.

●        Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendor communication — hosting, infrastructure, and software vendors.

●        Maintain JIRA hygiene on IT and development tickets: creation, grooming, and status accuracy.

●        Work hands-on alongside our developers — supporting testing and validation, executing test cases, and tracking issues through to resolution.

●        Track and follow up on open IT tickets and requests, keeping response times tight.

●        Maintain IT systems documentation — access lists, configurations, runbooks — keeping it current.

Requirements

●        4+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.

●        Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 — user/email account management, access control, basic troubleshooting.

●        Experience working with JIRA or a similar ticketing/work-tracking tool.

●        Comfortable communicating directly with external vendors on technical and account matters.

●        Basic understanding of testing/QA practices — able to execute test cases and document issues clearly.

●        Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code is preferred.

●        Strong organizational skills and follow-through; comfortable managing multiple concurrent requests.

●        Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable working directly with developers on technical issues.

NICE TO HAVE

Preferred Qualifications

●        Exposure to the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).

●        Exposure to Dynamics 365 CRM or another CRM platform.

●        Interest in growing into more hands-on development or scripting work over time.

Benefits

Benefits: 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays.
