Asset Management is a global asset management organization focused on governing and executing business practices to track, manage, and organize assets within the organization for compliance. This involves financial, inventory, and risk management responsibilities throughout the full life cycle of an asset. As an IT Asset Specialist 1 within the IT Asset Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our software assets.
Responsibilities of this role require managing simple to moderately complex IT assets throughout their lifecycle, which includes the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, licensing, renewals, and disposal of hardware and software assets. The role ensures that the organization's IT assets are managed efficiently and follow licensing and regulatory requirements. In this role you will participate in internal team initiatives and/or company approved projects; provide ad hoc reporting; support new/existing technology processes and services; interface with multiple departments; interact with executive management, corporate, and field representatives; and maintain vendor relationships associated with the asset accounts. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various stakeholders will be essential to your success.
Qualifications:
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Asset Management and/or equivalent experience required
  • Three (3) years or more of IT software asset management experience required
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or ITIL certification preferred
  • Proficiency in software licensing and compliance
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools including ServiceNow; Microsoft SCCM
  • Understanding of PCI 4.0 requirements
  • Vendor software audit experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented
  • Excellent organization and project management abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, with ability to create macros and run analytical functions
