Project Lead - FCCMS
Location: Remote
Interview Process: 1 round, virtual
Duration: 12 MonthsEmployment Type: ContractExperience Required: 08+ Years
Candidate Location: No SC residency required. Open to nationwide candidates.
Project Scope:
The CFS Project Team is responsible for developing and maintaining a statewide Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS) for the South Carolina Family Courts. The system manages Family Court case information, accounting functions compliant with GAAP standards, document imaging, and integrations with SC Judicial Branch (SCJB) and PACSS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead the transition of the FCCMS application from SC DSS to SCJB
โ€ข Manage and guide the FCCMS functional team
โ€ข Lead user education and training programs
โ€ข Drive functional analysis and solution design activities
โ€ข Work with counties on complex business process improvements
โ€ข Manage application defects, quality metrics, and enhancement activities
โ€ข Validate vendor business designs against approved state requirements
โ€ข Coordinate with state SMEs to ensure system functionality aligns with business expectations
โ€ข Supervise testing teams in creating scenarios, scripts, and executing test activities
โ€ข Triage defects, design issues, and scope changes during testing phases
โ€ข Review vendor documentation including BRDs, technical designs, and test plans
โ€ข Coordinate with Family Court Clerk Committees on enhancement priorities
โ€ข Support E-Filing initiative requirements, design, and testing efforts
Required Skills & Experience:
โ€ข 7+ years of experience using and configuring Family Court Case Management Systems (FCCMS)
โ€ข 5+ years of experience designing and documenting software solutions
โ€ข 5+ years of experience managing and defining software requirements
โ€ข 5+ years of experience managing complex software implementations
โ€ข Strong project leadership and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Skills:
โ€ข Strong understanding of Component, Integration, Regression, Performance, and Acceptance Testing
โ€ข Experience managing software testing and development teams
โ€ข Ability to read data models and perform SQL queries
โ€ข Experience supporting Maintenance & Operations phase projects
