Job Overview:
Pay Range: $48/hr - $53/hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 3+ Years of Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for core project collateral, training, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- 3+ Years of Project Management Experience with infrastructure, network, or applications projects.
- 3+ Years of Experience with Full Life Cycle Change Management.
- 3+ Years of Experience with PCI, PUB1075, and/or NIST Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as Project Manager for specific client projects and activities; works with Security and Technology Services Management on priorities and timeframes of projects; plans work and schedule for projects; coordinates interaction between interrelated project teams; reviews and assesses progress of projects and activities and takes corrective action where necessary.
- Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to requirements.
- Is required to follow the organization’s methodology, the Project Management Approach for The Systems Development Lifecycle.
- Assists management and project stakeholders in information technology planning related to the program.
- Clarifies expectations and defines requirements. Directs the work activities and priorities of team leaders, architects, consultants, analysts, and technicians engaged in design, procurement, testing, and implementation of projects and activities. Responsible for providing feedback to management on staff, assignments, training, development, and performance related to the organization.
- Serves as primary contact person for project stakeholders and contractors to resolve day-to-day issues, process change requests and manage schedules for projects and activities. Escalates to management and project sponsors any issues, change requests, and schedule impacts.
- Coordinates with management and resources responsible for ongoing maintenance and support of components post-implementation as needed for knowledge transfer and for coordination with new implementations.
- Estimates, tracks and reports on costs, including potential hard dollar, and internal personnel and contractor hours. Reports regularly to Management and Sponsor as to project status, including project accomplishments, issues, risks, and financials. Serves as project advisor to Management, Project Sponsors, and Steering Committee.
- Documents expected benefits, such as reduction in cycle time, personnel savings, and any hard dollar savings for any enhancement requests other than ones mandated by legislation.
- Performs other duties and special projects assigned.

- Experience as a project manager in Government IT projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products- Windows, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, MS Office, Office 365, Visio.
- Business/Quality Analyst experience.
- Vendor management skills.
- Metrics analysis and reporting.
- Information Security Project experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communications to include grammar, composition, punctuation, writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Qualification And Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and 4+ years of experience in information technology systems or related area.
- Industry certifications in field.
