Job description

TRAVELING EARLY HEAD START TEACHER
Full-time, Year-round position
Office is located in Atlantic, Iowa
**NON-REMOTE POSITION**
WCCA seeks a Traveling Teacher for the Early Head Start Program.
Traveling Teachers work with families and help support the development of the family and their infants/toddlers within the families homes.
Traveling Teachers meet with families and their children for 90 minutes weekly.
Traveling Teachers implement a research-based curriculum for children aged birth to 36 months of age and families of all backgrounds and abilities.
Minimum requirements at AA/AS in Early Childhood Education, Family Services, Human Services, Social Work, prefer candidates with BA/BS in these fields.
Valid driver's license, dependable transportation and current auto liability insurance are required and non-negotiable for this position. Head Start does have a fleet of vehicles that may be able to be utilized, but current and dependable transportation is required for this position.
