Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for coding for a busy radiology practice with multiple reading locations. This position will ensure that every exam is coded accurately and in a timely manner. Proficiency and accuracy in coding ICD-10 and CPT codes are a must. This position requires attention to detail, analysis and research. 

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Coding Certification (CPC) required.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in medical coding preferred.
  • RadPayor, MedInformatics, and Waystar experience a plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as on a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to sit and keyboard/work on the phone for up to 8 hours in a day
  • Independent and self-directed
  • Problem-solves with creativity and ingenuity
  • Organizes, prioritizes, and coordinates multiple activities and tasks

  • Most work is remote. In home work office or on-site for periodic meetings. Work must be completed on company equipment only and employee must sign the remote worker policy.
