Remote with minimal travel to PA (client will pay the travel expenses)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Willow Ambulatory Consultant to support the design, build, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Willow Ambulatory applications. The consultant will collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, and IT stakeholders to enhance outpatient pharmacy workflows and ensure successful Epic system functionality.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of Epic Willow Ambulatory implementation/support experience
  • Experience with Epic upgrades, build, testing, and workflow optimization
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient pharmacy operations and medication management workflows
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into Epic solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues and provide production support
  • Experience with integrated Epic applications including EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChart, and Willow Inventory is preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, build, and maintain Epic Willow Ambulatory application components.
  • Analyze pharmacy workflows and recommend system enhancements.
  • Support application testing, validation, and go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Epic Willow-related issues and defects.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and operational teams to improve workflows.
  • Participate in system upgrades, optimization initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer documents.
  • Support integrated medication management processes across Epic applications.
  • Assist with change requests, enhancement projects, and production support activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Epic best practices and healthcare industry standards
