The Position
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient inventory management across multiple warehouse locations. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to investigate inventory discrepancies, support stock allocation, perform inventory reconciliations, and help maintain accurate system transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support inventory allocation activities to ensure product availability and customer service objectives are met.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations between WMS, FDM4, and other inventory management systems.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Support inventory-related processes associated with FDM4 and other system implementations.
  • Process and maintain inventory holds to support customer order management.
  • Analyze inventory shortages, delays, and stock availability, communicating impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Notify Sales and Customer Service of inventory issues that may affect customer orders.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, IT, Sales, Marketing, Planning, Warehouse Operations, and Quality teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Support inventory balancing activities, including Trimark bulk transfers between locations.
  • Process inventory adjustments for shortages, overages, damaged goods, and receiving discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle count reviews and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory control processes and system accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely completion of inventory transactions.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, accounting, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain.

Residency Requirements:
Must be located in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Utah.
