Role: Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Advisory

Location: US Remote

Synonymous Business Title (s): Sr. Solution Advisor, Sr. Pre-Sales Solution Advisor

Overview:

We are seeking a pragmatic, consultative Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Advisory (Sr. Solution Advisor) for the Retail Hardlines team to support supply chain transformation initiatives and advise both commercial teams and customers. This role combines strong domain expertise, analytics, and stakeholder engagement to drive improvements across network design, inventory, demand planning, S&OP, and technology-enabled processes.

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Advisory contributes to the development and delivery of customer-focused, cost-effective solutions by supporting solution design, delivering analytical insights, and assisting in the deployment of tailored capabilities aligned to business needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with customers and cross-functional teams to guide solutioning, support adoption, and ensure alignment with Blue Yonder solutions, while playing a key role in solution quality and customer value realization. This position is an individual contributor (IC) role with no direct people management responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop, articulate, and deliver customercentric supply chain solutions aligned to business objectives and measurable operational and financial outcomes.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise across key supply chain domains, including planning, execution, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead customer engagements such as discovery, design, blueprinting, and solution validation sessions, ensuring clarity, alignment, and customer confidence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in process transformation discussions, guiding customers through workflows, reference architectures, and designauthority governance.
  • Deliver compelling Blue Yonder demonstrations using customerspecific data, business narratives, and differentiation messaging.
  • Connect solution configuration and design decisions to operational performance, financial impact, and adoption strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, consulting, and product teams to drive customer adoption, retention, and value realization.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Blue Yonder products, services, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to effectively position Blue Yonder as a market leader.
  • Build and sustain strong, longterm customer relationships by consistently delivering highimpact guidance and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for customer expansion, enhancement, and upsell.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a customerfacing supply chain advisory, solution consulting, or consultative sales role, supporting retail hardlines customers.
  • Foundational understanding of supply chain domains such as forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, or transportation (TMS), particularly within retail environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate supply chain and technology concepts for technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Customerfocused mindset with a commitment to quality delivery and measurable value.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading blueprinting, design, and solution validation exercises with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Experience deploying and configuring SaaS supply chain solutions, including understanding of change management, integrations, and project lifecycle phases.
  • Ability to deliver differentiated Blue Yonder demonstrations using business value storytelling and customer relevant scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technical architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration strategies.
  • Ability to align technology and system design decisions to business KPIs and value drivers.
  • Experience supporting or governing design authority during implementations.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder solutions or similar enterprise supply chain platforms preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $137,127 to $172,873 USD plus target incentive

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
